A free membership, nothing else.
Cons of working at LA Fitness
Incredibly low pay as compared to profits. I am paid $10/hr right now and they are barely doing anything to fix it cuz i was promised a whopping $11/hr.

I think the CEO and leadership teams are best at exploiting the employees, especially when it comes to pay.
How would you improve LA Fitness's culture?
I would improve LA Fitness by paying my employees fairer wages instead of greedily keeping it for the few at the top who are not vital for turning the cogs.
How did you prepare for the LA Fitness interview?
I prepared for an interview at LA Fitness by strengthening my mind and body and then by meditating. I followed my intuition and I landed the job.
How does your compensation at LA Fitness compare to the industry average?
Comparison to industry average is misleading and distracting. It truly doesn’t matter when your company is a multi-BILLION dollar company.
What's the diversity at LA Fitness like?
To be honest it doesn’t feel diverse. Partly because corporations kill diversity; we can see this readily all throughout our country, everyone is more hom*ogenized for capitalizing on mass production.
What brings you the most joy at LA Fitness?
Educating people about health and fungal infections.

Lots of fitness format trainings available. The best members. Coworkers work as a team together. Beautiful atmosphere. Top notch fitness programs.

Cons of working at LA Fitness
They are not flexible. They will always put the business first and not your personal health if an emergency arises. Corporate does not give a sh*t and will tell you everything you are doing WRONG. Corporate themselves will disrespect you and your work. Underpays everyone for their hard work. Do not let them fool you thinking it's a good paying job. They will switch you to another facility to their convenience. No stability.

I don't have a lot of responsibility other than opening/closing and enforcing the mask policy. I have a lot of potential that obviously isn't being fulfilled working here.

Working at amazon was a good experience because I gain knowledge by working there and i had to get to know a lot of people.

The only thing I didn't like about working at La Fitness was the low pay rate. Some of the workers use to get more then the others while doing the same job which that really bothered me.
