Michigan and MSU will face off in a Big Ten battle at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Michigan Stadium. The Wolverines have a defense that allows only 12.14 points per game, so the Spartans' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Michigan's game against the Penn State Nittany Lions two weeks ago was close at halftime, but Michigan turned on the heat in the second half with 25 points. Michigan blew past Penn State 41-17. Michigan's win was all the more impressive since Penn State was averaging only 14.8 points allowed on the season. Michigan's RB Donovan Edwards was on fire, rushing for two TDs and 173 yards on 16 carries. Edwards had some trouble finding his footing against the Indiana Hoosiers three weeks ago, so this was a step in the right direction. Edwards' sharp performance set his single-game rushing touchdown high for the season.

Special teams collected 15 points for Michigan. K Jake Moody delivered a perfect 4-for-4 game.

Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but the Spartans ultimately got the result they were hoping for two weeks ago with a 34-28 victory over the Wisconsin Badgers. WR Jayden Reed was the offensive standout of the matchup for MSU, throwing one touchdown in addition to catching nine passes for one TD and 117 yards. MSU's victory came on a 27-yard TD pass from QB Payton Thorne to Reed with only 0:00 remaining in double overtime.

The Wolverines are the favorite in this one, with an expected 23-point margin of victory. Those who got lucky with them against the spread two weeks ago might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.
