2C SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2019 JOURNAL COURIER YODER Denise M. Warnock, 62, of Yoder, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at her residence. Denise was born on Jan- uary 6, 1957 in Lafayette to Robert Gregory and the late Joan (Campbell) Dunbar. She married Steven W.

Warnock on November 16, 2001 in Fort Wayne, and he survives. Denise worked for various nursing homes as a cook. She enjoyed going to the lake, setting by the camp fire and fishing. Surviving along with her father and husband, are two siblings, Tina (Moe) Peterson-Gregory of Louisiana, Jeff Gregory of Americus, three step-siblings, Tom Dunbar of Seymour, Deb (John) Callahan of Lafayette, and Janet Dunbar of West Lafayette. Also surviving are two nephews Merl Howard, Brandon Howard, and one niece Sophia Gregory.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joan Dunbar, and her step-father, Lon Dunbar. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Celebrant Theresa Fischer officiating. Warnock LAFAYETTE Larry E. Sweet, 75 of Lafayette passed away at 8:30 pm Wednesday, February 6th at St Elizabeth East Hos- pital. He was born March 26,1943 at Huntington, IN the son of Raymond and Mildred Stewart Sweet. Larry married Betty Bushmeyer on June 2,1963 and she preceded him in death October 30,2011. Larry was a laborer and construction worker with the Union for 44 years.

He worked as a school crossing guard following his retirement. He is survived by his mother Mildred Sweet of Huntington, a daughter Joy Johnson of Lafay- ette and two grandchildren Kaitlyn Johnson of Lafayette and Justin Neal of West Lafayette. Also surviving are a brother Raymond Sweet of North Manchester and Brenda Dickey of Marion. Funeral services for Larry will be on Tuesday, February 12th at the Lafayette Christian Reformed Church at 12th and Tippecanoe Sts, in Lafayette with Pastor Mark Bonnes officiating. Friends may call from 11am until the time of services at the church.

Cremation will follow. TMG Funeral Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements. Larry E. Sweet BEECH GROVE Cath- erine Ann Heavilin, age 64, passed away on Feb- ruary 6, 2019 at Alle- gheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on October 2, 1954 in Lafayette, IN to Bogdon and Jane Ann Mareachen.

She gradu- ated from Jefferson High School in 1972 and at- tended Purdue University. She married George Heavilin on January 19, 1974 in Lafayette. They have one son. She worked as a merchandiser and trainer for American Greetings in the greater Indianapolis area and then as a sales consultant for both Pari- sian and Saxs Fifth Avenue. Cathy loved to craft, cook and bake and enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with friends and family.

Many came to know her as the She enjoyed the socializing and volunteer activities of the Beech Grove Zeta Theta Chapter of Tri Kappa and the Indy Red Hattitudes. Catherine is survived by her husband George; a son George Andrew (Jennifer); a sister Ruth (Markus) Heinimann; and nieces Anya (Joshua) Hobson and Lexi Heinimann. She was prede- ceased by her parents and her sisters: Mary Ann Heise, Josephine Sari and Juliet Mareachen. Family, friends and others, whose lives Cathy touched, are invited to the G. H.

Catherine Ann Heavilin LAFAYETTE Brenda Lou Murr, 70, of New Ha- ven passed away Wednes- day, February 6, 2019 at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

Brenda was born Au- gust 1, 1948 in Aurora, to the late William and Patricia (Neegly) Ban- schbach. After High School she enjoyed being a homemaker. Brenda married Marvin Murr on October 11, 1975 in Lafayette and he survives. Brenda was a member of St. Boniface and St.

Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, collected baskets and loved and had a huge collec- tion of hats. She liked cooking, had a wonderful sense of humor and loved her family. Surviving along with her husband Marvin, are two daughters: Tricia (Don) Kirby of Monticello, Marissa Murr of Fort Wayne, and a son: Matthew (Krystal) Murr of Beaverton, Oregon. One sister Nancy (Michael) Land of Aurora, Ten grandchil- dren and Eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death along with her par- ents by one son: Robert Alan Zell, two brothers: Christopher Banschbach and Mark Banschbach and one sister Jackie Kline. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, Feb- ruary 12, 2019 at Hippensteel Funeral Home, 822 9th Street, Lafayette, IN. With visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Father Tim Alkire. Interment to follow at Saint Boniface Cemetery.

He was born to the late Lester and Al- ice McKee of Kentland, Indiana. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pat; children, Tamara Savidge (Dale), Jera Phil- lips Kee (Cindy), Montgom- ery McKee (Kathy); 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Nulph of Rossville, Indiana.He was preceeded in death by two sisters and a brother. Dave served in the US Navy and graduated from Indiana Business College.He was employed by IBM for 35 years.

Dave was active in the scouting program, serving as both Cub Master and Boy Scout Leader. He was one of the original commissioners for the Jackson Township Youth football league loved the game of golf and had achieved 3 holes in 1 in his career. In 1996, he was the Raccoon Run golf champion. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church.Amemorial service will be held at Cornerstone Baptist church, 8509 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC on February 12 at 11:00 a.m. A private burial service will be held at a later date in Brook, Indiana.
