10 2021 Audi RS7
The list would be incomplete without a model from Audi's RS range. From fire-breathing engines to all-weather capability thanks to their AWD systems, a fast Audi is one of the default do-it-all cars and some make for some great used bargains.
In Forza Horizon 5, the RS7 is the latest and greatest of the lot and can easily be tuned and adapted into an all-round beast. It's 4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 with 600 hp is a great basis for insane in-game tuning capabilities. If you are interested in buying such a thing outside of the Horizon world, here are 10 things you need to know about it.
9 2020 BMW M8
The BMW M8 is Munich's arch rival to the beast from Ingolstadt. Equipped with a 4.4-liter twin turbocharged V8 with 616 hp, the M8 is effectively a supercar in a business suit.
With AWD to aid the power, the capabilities this car has in Forza Horizon 5 are unbelievable as you're likely to experience anything from on-road street racing to darting across fields for added shortcuts. The M8 has you covered for it all – even drag racing in some circ*mstances!

8 2016 Cadillac CTS-V
The Cadillac CTS-V is effectively a luxurious, 4-door version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. It's supercharged 6.2-liter V8 churns out 640 hp and being a GM unit, is also a fabulous basis for insane power and torque figures in the tuning sector.
If you need a fast sedan to beat them all in circuit races, the CTS-V is a strong contender that can even worry sports and supercar players in not only the Forza Horizon universe, but in the real one too. The CTS-V has always been a car developed at the Nurburgring, so you can expect the big Caddy to be a confident beast around tricky corners as well.
7 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE
Like the CTS-V, the Camaro ZL1 1LE has a lot of ground covered as far as racing categories go. It's fast, tunable and a brilliant beast around corners thanks to many hours spent at the Nurburgring.
The track-prepared Camaro is a car that can be adapted into a plethora of different beasts for different kinds of races. And should you want to tune the engine close to 1,000 hp and make that jump over the field of water? Chances are the Camaro might give it a good shot. It truly is an awesome machine and here's why we strongly withhold that opinion.
6 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk
Imagine the Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk as a Dodge Challenger Hellcat in rain boots. That same 707-hp V8 engine was shoved into an SUV to create something truly insane.
A perfect car therefore to explore the Forza Horizon 5 map in! You'll be in no doubt, that the Trackhawk with its AWD capability and insane power output will be able to cover ground faster than the desert storm experienced in the opening sequence of the game. It should have no problem crossing rivers and conquering mountains, and it'll keep up with the supercars in races as well.
5 2019 Lamborghini Urus
The Urus feels like the sort of car designed for the madness of the Horizon universe. It's a supercar on stilts and that's exactly what's needed when encountering Horizon's typical race layouts of half on-road and half off-road layouts.
Sharing the same platform as the Porsche Cayenne and Audi RSQ8, the Urus sits on established mechanical underpinnings but is tuned to deliver supercar levels of performance whilst embracing the immense capability on dirt tracks. The game makes do with the 'standard' Urus, but a new Urus S has since been unveiled – which is even more crazy.

4 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR
Land Rovers are famously famed for their off-road capability, but only recently did they begin to mark their presence in terms of on-road performance. One of the key cars that did so was the truly bonkers Range Rover Sport SVR.
It's perfect for any of the Horizon installments, never mind Horizon 5, and the SVR's 5.0-liter supercharged V8 provides performance that'll give you all the victories that are in store.
3 2018 Mercedes E63 AMG S
The Mercedes E63 AMG in 4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 form is one of the most iconic performance cars of recent times. It finally gave the Audi RS6 a close fight while simultaneously out-classing the BMW M5–causing the engineers from Munich to aggressively improve the flagship model.
With AWD and 612 hp on tap, the E63 is a truly amazing machine and one that will always be remembered by AMG fans and Horizon players alike for being truly spectacular in almost anything. The Brabus tuning options are a mighty fine thing in the game too.
2 2017 Nissan GT-R
The Nissan GT-R has been the ultimate Q car for over 15 years now. With its relentless performance and electrifying handling, the GT-R has been a weapon for Forza fans for as long as the original Horizon installment and even earlier.
Tunability, on and off-road capabilities have never changed and the GT-R is still one of the ultimate cars to beat when prepared properly for Horizon events. It's 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 and AWD system have forever been coveted by car enthusiasts and gamers alike and Forza fans will find it tricky to find a better all-round car in Horizon 5.
1 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S
With the newer generation of racing games comes newer generation cars. Game changers (literally) like the Porsche Taycan bring new levels of speed, handling and tunability to the table that the gas-powered cars could only ever dream of.
With instant torque and acceleration, the Taycan Turbo S is the ultimate all-round EV in Forza Horizon 5 and can be adapted to be an anything and everything monster. With a 0-60 time of well under 3 seconds and at least 750 hp on tap, the Taycan Turbo S is a fabulous tool to use for any Horizon challenges.
