  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, crushed
  • 1 small Onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 pound of Ground Chicken
  • 8 ounces of Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup of Fresh Oregano, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup of Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ½ cup of Sour Cream
  • ¼ cup of Heavy Cream
  • ½ teaspoon of Pepper, ground

How to Make Keto Chicken, Cheese & Bacon Casserole

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/355F.
  2. Place a large nonstick frying pan over high heat and add the oil, garlic, onion, and half the salt. Saute until translucent.
  3. Add the ground chicken and brown. Remove from the heat and stir through the bacon and oregano.
  4. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle over the cheddar cheese.
  5. Add the eggs, sour cream, cream, remaining salt, and pepper in a bowl and whisk together.
  6. Pour over the chicken mixture.
  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cut into six pieces and serve with a side of Garlic Green Beans.

  4. Was pretty good. So I added riced cauliflower, and it was pretty delish. Almost tasted like a breakfast casserole. Will def make this again, but this time I think I will use breakfast sausage, as the cauliflower had more of a potato consistency. I felt like I was cheating. Seriously! Good stuff! Can always change up the spices as well to make it what ever flavor you want. Great base!!

  5. This is truly one of the best recipes I have ever found. I’ve made it dozens of times exactly to the recipe and it is perfect. I’ve also tried many great variations. Our favorite is to add roasted cauliflower to the mixture. Thank you!

  6. I didn’t have any fresh oregano so I added some chopped raw spinach for greens. Also I used grated mozarella instead of cheddar. It was delish!

  7. Very, very good. Easy to make, I served it with asparagus and coleslaw. I didn’t have sour cream so I replaced it with cream cheese. Will keep in my favorite.
